** ALASKA. 6075, Nov 19 at 0801, KNLS IS and opening English hour
``from the top of the world to the Indian Ocean``, VG S9/+20; program
previews including nonsensical ``Creation Moment``, and into some pop
music to appear hip. They pretend to be in Alaska, but I think the
programming comes out of Tennessee (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** ANTARCTICA. 15475.98 RC USB, Saturday Nov 18 at 1834, LRA36 is on,
S7/S9 into Argentine SDR, all talk about Esperanza, Antarctica; still
2030, 2124+. And 2325 still into a different ArgSDR, S6/S7 in music.
2358 still on via the first one as the second one had closed due to
storms. 0012 ID and historical info. 0016 intro a musical segment,
something about 1983 in New York? 0019 finally stops talking and
plays it. Still going at 0059 UT Sunday Nov 19. May also have been on
some weekdays but unsought this week (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** BRAZIL. 6179.95 approx., Nov 19 at 0804, RNA VG S9+25 with music
but considerably off-frequency. EiBi and Aoki both show 0750-0300 but
I think it is anything but continuous with a brief morning broadcast
(Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** CANADA. 2749 USB, Nov 22 at 0746, marine weather in English by YL
voice, S7. Also same synth voice on 2598 USB much stronger S9+20.
Scheduled now are 2749 VCO Sydney NS from 0740 and 2598 VCP Placentia
NL from 0737, first broadcasts of the local days. However, EiBi shows
sites are really:
pc-Port Caledonia NS 46N11'14"-59W53'59"
sl-St Lawrence NL 46N55'09"-55W22'45"
(Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** COLOMBIZUELA [and non]. 4940, Nov 19 at 0754, mystery station
alternating YL in English, OM in Spanish, one consecutively
translating the other, probably sermon, S5/S8 direct. Earlier check
circa 0415 found no signal next to 4930 VOA BOTSWANA (Glenn Hauser,
OK, WOR)

** CUBA. 6000, Nov 16 at 0438, RHC S9+20/30 but JBM allegedly in
English. Something`s always wrong at RHC. The Other Side:

``READ TODAY THE CUBA OF TOMORROW November 7, 2023
UPR: UNIVERSAL PERIODIC REVIEW --- What is the UN Universal Periodic
Review and how will the Cuban regime fare?
The Review is a process that allows states to improve their human
rights records, but the island's regime is covering up Cuban realities
and evading the review's requirements. ANGELES ROSAS | Madrid``...

(Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** CUBA [and non]. 9490+, Nov 19 at 0332, S9/+10 of dead air and a
trace of pulse jamming. Must be the always-off-frequency TDF FRANCE
unit which carries RMI`s Radio República, currently HFCC registered as
01-02 & 02-03 separately but both daily, 150 kW at 285 degrees. In
practice, RR has had a different span on weekends than weekdays. EiBi
now shows 01-02 daily, adding 02-04 on Thu/Fri/Sat/Sun/Mon; and this
is UT Sunday. Aoki shows 01-02 daily, adding 02-03 on days 1267 =
Sun/Mon/Fri/Sat. WRMI skedgrid is still dated B22! --- 01-02 on days
234 = Tue/Wed/Thu, 01-03 on days 5671 = Fri/Sat/Sun/Mon, 03-04 also on
days 5671 (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** CUBA [and non]. 5800, Nov 19 circa 0415 and still at 0757, jamming
vs nothing as WRMI is not on at these hours, and when it is earlier,
nothing worthy of jamming. Or is there? WRMI-10 5800 atop skedgrid
shows Freedom Synergy Radio at 03-04 on System B -- but NOWHERE to be
found on the program skeds below. IIRC it`s Latin American oriented,
pro-Taiwan and thus anti-Communist, but in English. Nothing about it
now to be found on the Programming page either, altho not all of that
is text-searchable (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** CUBA. 5910, Nov 19 at 0413, S9+50 of CRI relay but JBM, still
blowing away Alcaraván Radio. Is that the music I can detect? No, it`s
Chinese. The first hour at 03-04 is supposed to be in English, not
Mandarin as I said last time. Something`s always wrong at RadioCuba
(Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** CUBA. 6000, Nov 19 at 0415, RHC is S9+20/30 but JBM in presumed
English. Something`s always wrong at RHC (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** CUBA. 5025, Nov 21 at 0748, S9+20 of dead air from R. Rebelde,
which is often on the air and modulating earlier in evenings.
Something`s always wrong at RadioCuba (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** CUBA [non]. 9330, Nov 21 circa 0745, NO sign of spy numbers this
date nor on other random dates lately during this hour; rather WLCR
via WBCQ in the clear after years of collisions on alternate nights.
Matches this from Rick Barton on the WOR iog: ``9330 UNITED STATES
(Maine) WBCQ 0700. Long lecture by man in Portuguese. Strong - but
choppy - signal. Most notably, no co-channel Cuban ##s station for
weeks now (also true with all the other numbers skeds). -- Fair to
Good Nov. 19 Barton-AZ`` (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** CUBA. David Crawford, FL, replies to my report of 9330 spy numbers
missing: ``Last HM01 spook report seen here before its redisappearance
was 26 OCT at 0635 Z by Ary. Bauta lost at least one more working
transmitter (9535) in early October. So, HM01 was competing for RHC
resources and losing perhaps, since HM01 long-period-repetitive
content suggests that it is a contingency-only medium now. Not
counting 4765 and 5025, I'm not hearing more than 3 RHC Bauta at a
time just now: routinely 9710, 11760, and 15140, and pop-ups sometimes
on 6100, 9650, 11670, or 11950 within that total. Max RHC+CRI Quivicán
observed here currently is 4, and still zero Bejucal. The trend does
not bode well for the future of RHC shortwave`` (Glenn Hauser, OK,
WOR)

** CUBA [non]. 13820, Nov 21 at 2140 check, no Martí here nor on
A-channel 13605; nor any jamming against nothing on either penetrates
local noise level. O, to be expected as 13820 is now sked only until
2100*; while 11860 & 11930 are still on VG. Nor any 35790 audible yet
on 3 x 11930 (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** CUBA. 11760, Nov 22 at 0731, JBA S2 in Spanish. Must be RHC way
overtime; their jammers are stronger against nothing, S4/S5 on 11860,
S5 on 11930. Something`s always wrong at RHC (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** EGYPT. 9442.4816, quite steady, Nov 17 at 2138, R. Cairo, S9+25
into UTwente and JBM in presumed English. First I found it S4/S5
direct at 2118 on 9442.5 approx., trace maybe of mod and no sig on
9440! Something`s amiss at Abis; a different transmitter than the one
on 9439.995? Has been reported before on 9442, DX Fanzine:

``9442 22.10.23 2115-2125 EGY R.Cairo, Abis, EE: crash start on odd
freq, QRM from VO Korea in CC on 9445 kHz. 52442 PR = Rumen Pankov,
Sofia, (Bulgaria). RX: Sony ICF2001D. ANT rod for MW, Folded Marconi
antenna 16 meters long for SW`` (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** EGYPT [non]. 9440 nor 9442, Nov 20 at 2120, NO signal from R. Cairo
into UTwente, but heavy splash from nothing closer than 9455 Chinese,
i.e. CNR1 jammer against RFA via Kuwait; never mind WRMI. Something`s
amiss at Abis, egregious in Egypt (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** EGYPT. 9442.489, Nov 21 at 2135, R. Cairo not off the air but way
off-frequency, S9+20 direct with music only during brief check while
modulation sounds tolerable. FYI, this includes a +7 Hz correxion
factor to the R75 zerobeat readout compared to WWV 10000. Something`s
amiss at Abis (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** FRANCE. 21640+, Nov 17 at 1535, no signal direct from La Boulangère
MiniTransAt, but the other two 13m ISSouduns are on, 21485 & 21690.
Same Nov 18 at 1532. Is the sailboat race over, or was there something
starting at 1500 before I have been tuning? Check the website:
https://minitransat.fr/

The winner, Federico WAKSMAN from Uruguay, arrived at Guadeloupe
already on 10 November, and the 28th in last place on 17 November;
three more dropped out. So it`s over (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** FRANCE. 21485, Nov 17 at 1532, after finding no signal on 21640+
for MiniTransAt, this and 21690, the other two ISSouduns scheduled
this hour on 13m can be heard, confirming propagation is OK. But 21485
sounds ``stuttering``, some transmission problem, double feed?
At 1430-1600 it`s R. Tamazuj, targeting Sudan South (Glenn Hauser, OK,
WOR)

** JAPAN. 7380, Nov 22 at 0727, Western classical M vocal solo with
piano accompaniment, so NHK would not be first guess, but that`s
what`s listed, 07-09, 85 degrees from Yamata for S America in
Japanese. Only other possibility is: various USA pirates in English
irr. 24h per EiBi, but I don`t recall any on 7380. Joe Hanlon
suggested that a higher band would be better for that target, but it`s
fine S9+25/30 to here over a mostly dark path. Other NHK at this time
on 11825 beamed back to Asia is a JBA carrier (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** KIRITIMATI. 846 kHz, Nov 22 at 0748, no signal from R. Kiribati,
which I continue to check almost every night after 0700; last season
this would be the earliest/only ``trans``-Pacific MW carrier audible
here. Probably off, but still must overcome local noise level here.
Need further checking via Oahu remote (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** NEWFOUNDLAND. 2598 USB, Nov 17 at 0742 UT, YL with marine weather
in English, JBA vs local line noise. DXinfocentre.com shows this the
first 2598 broadcast of the local day from 0737 UT, VCP-4, 3000 watts
from Placentia, which is on the west side of the SE peninsula. Nothing
at this time on 2749, altho closer 550-watt VCO Sydney NS is supposed
to start at 0740 (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** NORTH AMERICA. 6958 USB, Nov 20 at 2258, rock music S9+10/20, 2259
into a music loop, IS? vs intermittent line noise peaking S9+20. 2302
adds chirping to the mxmix; 2309 trance? music. Never heard any talk
ID in random chex back and forth with 6954 USB neighbor. Also UnID for
11 other monitors:
https://www.hfunderground.com/board/index.php/topic,121504.0.html
(Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** NORTH AMERICA. 6954 USB, Nov 20 at 2304, another pirate with music
besides the 6958 unID, slightly weaker; 2306 SSTV beepery; 2311 music,
2316 more SSTV. Never heard any voice ID. Many reports here as Thunder
Chicken Radio, with SSTV images:
https://www.hfunderground.com/board/index.php/topic,121501.0.html
(Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** QATAR [non]. 15385, Nov 22 at 1700, no signal from Al Jazeera TV
sound into Kuwait or UTwente SDRs. First time I`ve looked for it;
first reported by Jorge Freitas, Brasil, in the WOR iog:
``15385 17/November 1747 UNID in Arabic. Almost local signal here in
my QTH. I couldn't find information on any list, not even the newer
HFCC. It went off the air at 1759 without ID, while OM was speaking.
73 Jorge Freitas, Feira de Santana, Bahia 12°14´S 38°58´W -
Brasil, Tecsun PL-660, XHDATA, Antenna Delta Loop and LW 20 meters``

Tarek Zeidan, Cairo, replied Nov 19: ``Hello DXers, The first time we
caught Aljazeera TV audio carrier on SW was on 15th of November around
1130 UT on 15675 with a transmission that lasted till 1400. Later on
that day there was another transmission on 9965 around 1800 but it was
weaker than the previous transmission on 15675. The following day 16th
there was only one transmission on 15385 from 1600 to 1800 and that's
the only transmission we get from Aljazeera TV on SW for the last few
days; but in the meantime they've announced that they started
transmitting to Gaza strip on 93.9 MHz on FM Band. No mention
whatsoever about their SW transmission though I sent them 2 emails to
get the schedule and time of transmissions but in vain. Here's my
recording of the 1600 UT transmission on 18th of November:
https://youtu.be/BheMjVIwYaU?si=Jx8XHA34qgXy9blr
Best 73, Tarek Zeidan, Cairo, Egypt`` Site: believed to be Woofferton UK

And Ron Howard found this from Ali:
``"Al Jazeera Radio from Qatar on shortwave 15385 kHz." (Nov 16) -
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=U9DCDOd3Yws
Ron, San Francisco``

So is it still on the SW air, anywhere? 15385 would be a good choice,
nothing else scheduled on it (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** RUSSIA. 7032 USB, Nov 17 at 0508-0530+, jazzed-up choral version of
the Soviet Hymn = Russian national anthem, played over and over in a
loop with brief pauses, every 3 minutes and 28 seconds. S8/S9 into
UTwente; did not try direct. Tnx to tip from Volodya Salmaniw, BC on
the WOR iog, Nov 17:

``[WOR] 7032 USB --- The Russian station with the loop of the Russian
anthem has been very strong for a few nights now into Masset.
Listening now at 0457 UT. I tried a TDoA last night which placed the
transmitter near St Petersburg, Russia. 73, Walt`` These have been
going on for many months, also on several other SW frequencies;
presumably to bolster patriotism while waging genocidal war against
Ukraine (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** RUSSIA. Re my 7032 USB report of the Soviet Hymn, David Crawford
replies: ``gh, When I've heard this one on random occasion, it's
always been the Гимн России version by the group Любэ / "Lu-beh":
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=bbJQbiu09z8

Here's another rather notorious song of theirs, "Don't be a Fool,
America!", in which they make it clear that they want Alaska back:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4wuq1EE8ymc
I don't find that one as amusing as I used to.``

Of course once you go to YT, a bunch of other versions are suggested.
Most of the NAs get rave reviews as music, even from non-Communists.
Here`s an English version of the Soviet Hymn:

(Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** SOUTH CAROLINA [non]. 7570, Nov 16 at 0440, TOMBS via WRMI mixing
with another TOMBS, double feed maybe same thing a few sex apart until
one of him quits. Something`s always wacko at Walterboro (Glenn
Hauser, OK, WOR)

** SPAIN. 9690, Fri Nov 17 at 2300, VG direct with some fades, token
English from SNR; main news about Sánchez finally able to form a new
government. Palestine situation news including analysis from Beirut
correspondent. 169 evacuated ``Spanish Palestinians`` have arrived.
Feature following about an institute founded by American missionaries
to promote higher education for females (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** SPAIN. 9690, Mon Nov 20 at 2302, token English from SNR, VG direct,
news mainly about new governments in Spain and Argentina; 2308
interview about new amnesty deal since Catalonia separatists helped
Sánchez (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** SPAIN. 9690, Wed Nov 22 at 2307, token English from SNR, VG into
Maryland SDR, extended discourse by some professor about the Palestine
situation (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** TURKEY. 5960.005, Nov 17 at 2300, VOT totally inaudible direct vs
high line noise level; 2324 via UTwente at S9+25/35, S9+15/20 into
Maryland, during multi-lingual ID filler reel, music. 2329 `Feeling
Supreme/The Healing Spring` but missed topic. 2336
``always-by-your-side`` promo, `Did You Know That` repeat about the
Angora rabbit. 2341 ``with you every hour`` promo, music. 2345
``a-b-y-s`` promo again! and music. 2350 s/off by the badax, and
reciting the now totally wrong A23 schedule for four other English
broadcasts: all times wrong, all frequencies wrong! 2351 IS; 2357 one
German? ID inserted but soon chopped off* uncovering the understation
CCCCCCI. Something`s always awry at Ankara (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** TURKEY. 5960.005, Nov 18 at 2326, VOT not off the air in English,
VG S9+25/35 into UTwente ending multi-lingual ID filler reel; atop
CCCCCCI understation; music. 2331, `Gripping Piles`, on the
environmental disaster of wastewater leaking into the sea from Gaza.
I had not heard about that elsewhere. Then goes on to review the
conflict, emphasizing casualties caused by Israeli retaliation. 2334,
``always-by-your-side`` promo, music. 2339 `Turkey`s Geomarked [sic]
Products` on a small town in central Anatolia known for its handmade
carpets. 2342 ``with-you-every-hour`` promo, music. 2351 s/off again
by the badax with all-wrong A23 schedule, 2352 IS and off 2353*
uncovering Xinjiang (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** TURKEY [non]. 5960.001, Sun Nov 19 at 2346, no signal from VOT into
UTwente, just Chinese. Also Mon Nov 20 at 2308, no signals direct; and
at 2327, nothing into UTwente but Chinese from East Turkistan, std
denunciation. VOT stuck on 9610, the 2130-2230 channel? algo S7 at
9610.001, probably CNR8 from Beijing site. Something`s always
erroneous at Emirler twice (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** TURKEY. 5960.005, Nov 21 at 2300, VOT audible direct, S9+20 would
be sufficient if not for the local noise bursts to S9+40. Then
S9+20/30 into UTwente where measured, 2353 in canned signoff with
all-wrong local times labeled UTC, 2354 IS. Something`s always awry at
Ankara. 2356 restart IS with German ID, chopoff by 2356.6*. Strangely,
uncovers only a trace of algo rather than the usual CCCCCCI from East
Turkistan (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** TURKEY. 5960.005, Nov 22 at 2318, VOT English not off the air,
S9+25/35 into UTwente, `Gripping Piles` on negative environmental
impact of fashion industry, above undercurrent of CCCCCCI. 2322
multi-lingual ID filler reel, and badax reading `Weekly Commentary`
about China`s economy dependent on US investment which is declining;
by someone in Washingtoon DC. 2339 ``with-you-every-hour`` promo. 2340
`Feeling Supreme/The Healing Spring` about benefits of ozone therapy.
2347 song. 2350 another song. They never announce titles or artists,
which is just as well since they would be incomprehensible, just like
most of the writers contributing. 2353 s/off with totally wrong
English schedule: B23 frequencies but local times cited as if they
were UTC; announcess does not engage brain. 6 notes of IS chopped off
at 2355* before can switch to German, uncovering East Turkistan, std
denunciation; and something`s always awry at Ankara, erroneous at
Emirler (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** U S A. 329 MCW kHz, Nov 17 at 0736, PMV, ND beacon is JB readable
despite line noise level on LW of S9; unlike any others in bandscan,
not even local 341 EI. PMV is 25 watts from Plattsmouth, NE. That`s
just south of Omaha where the combined N&S Platte Rivers flow into the
Missouri (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

Wednesday November 22 at 2155 via remote in Maryland I notice that
WBCQ is OFF 7490 again, but its programming has again been shifted to
5130.30, J. P. Ferraro`s show from WHVW in another Trumpbump. So I
hasten to notify WOR and other lists that WOR 2217 should also be on
5130+ this week instead --- NOT: dead air after J.P. finishes, despite
a quick reminder to the boardops, for at least the rest of the
semihour tho by 2250 recheck some music is playing. Next:

0130 UT Thursday WRMI 9395 to NNW

One may contribute by MO or check on a US bank to:
Glenn Hauser, P O Box 1684, Enid OK 73702

Or via PayPal not necessarily in US funds to
woradio at yahoo.com (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** U S A. 7490+, Nov 16 at 0443, new offset+plus signature of WBCQ,
but JBA direct, much weaker than normal. These two factors lead me to
suspect it`s a backup transmitter in the wake of main unit failure and
off the air for a few days (Glenn Hauser, OK, WORLD OF RADIO 2217)

** U S A. Something`s really wrong at WBCQ: UT Nov 18, at 0050
preparing to check `AAAWWW`, 7490.061 is JBA S4/S5 into Maryland SDR,
instead of usual quite sufficient signal, during FKB gospel huxter.
6160 -68 Hz = 6159.932 is VG S9+12 with something else as usual.
Sounds like a g.h. rather than `Cruisin Radio` as in the program
guide. 5130.302 is S9+12, T**** and a het. Nothing on 3265+. So to
hear AAAWWW I have to bring up the `7490` stream, but it stops at
0100* and remains Unfound the rest of the evening whenever I check!

So I have to strain to hear them via remotes. At 0100, 7490 no William
Tell Overture theme audible; 5130+ still with T****; 6160- dead air.
By 0104 on 7490 I hear some other music, for `Chariots of Fire`. At
0108 can recognize Allan`s voice but unreadable. NH SDR is no better,
S6 but JBA. I give up, but ask Larry Will what`s going on? His reply
at 0146 after finishing Free Radio Weekly:

``Hello Glenn, I noticed the multiple anomalies on WBCQ tonight; I
have no idea what is going on but am checking it out now. Al's
Florida relay webcast started at 0100 with the AWWWWW theme song, but
suddenly went dead air less than a minute in, then played a bit of
what sounded like a newscast, then dropped off. 7490 no signal, 6160
open carrier/dead air, 5130 trump blather. 7490 webcast was down at
0100, back at 0110 with a repeat from May. Lw`` (Glenn Hauser, OK,
WOR)

** U S A. Uncle Bill responds:
``I checked in with the station myself. There has apparently been a
perfect storm of computer issues and ongoing problems with 7490's
usual transmitter (7490 is currently on a lower-powered backup). We
should know soon enough whether the computer issues have been fixed.
The transmitter prognosis is less clear`` (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** U S A. 7490.037, Sun Nov 19 at 2346, WBCQ with `Uncle Bill`s
Melting Pot` as on third Sundays from 2300, S9/+10 into Maryland SDR.
Stronger signal now but remains offset+plus instead of -minus
implying it`s still the backup transmitter (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** U S A. 9955, Nov 19 at 1534, is WRMI finally going DRM? Not
exactly: DRMish noise sidebands but not as broad as standard DRM and
still an AM carrier in middle. Trying a remote in DRM doesn`t get it.
Same at further random chex, presumably missing any AM announcements,
as this is:

``Shortwave Radiogram, 17-20 November 2023 (program 330): Another
EasyDRF Special ---
The next Shortwave Radiogram will be another EasyDRF special produced
by Daz Man in Australia. EasyDRF is a Windows application program for
sending files over radio using HamDRM format. EasyDRF is somewhat
complex and less tolerant of difficult reception conditions than our
MFSK and other digital modes. But when it works, the results are
dazzling. Our previous EasyDRF special was 11-16 May 2023.

Daz Man’s instructions for the EasyDRF are below. Please take the time
to read them. Note that Daz provides a link to an audio file, so that
you can practice decoding EasyDRF before the actual broadcasts
begin...`` https://swradiogram.net/

FYI: I applaud Kim Elliott`s efforts to promote new modes on SW, but
personally I have more than enough to monitor in AM, SSB, CW or NBFM
(Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** U S A. 17790, Nov 20 at 1628, NO signal direct from WRMI-7, Radio
Africa Network of PAB for S America supposed to start at 1500; nor at
1706 into Bonaire SDR; but is on at next check 1826, S8/9+18 with
gospel huxter in English (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** U S A. 9275, Nov 21 at 2132, no signal from WMLK, scheduled on
nonSabbaths until 2200 both in A- and B-seasons, consequently no DEJOM
to be heard; while neighbor in more ways than one, geographically and
frequencily, WINB inbooms S9+20 on 9265. Something`s bollixed at
Bethel. Prop OK with other USigs too, 9330, 9350, 9395, 9455, 9955
(Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

** U S A. 5085 & 9475, WTWW update from George McClintock at 2015 UT
November 18: 5085 dropped off the air last night but soon restored,
#2 transmitter, still scheduled 22-04 UT. Can`t get 9475 to stay on
despite a couple of brief tests. May have Continental guy back late
Nov/early Dec for 4 days to work on that, Al from the Philippines, now
retired in Dallas, first language not English. Depends on when some
more parts arrive. One shipment came two days ago. Mechanical, not
electronic parts are needed. George has been cleaning up #2 and
labeling #1. #1 is beyond filthy, looks like cat crapped in it, unID
white stuff. Biermann is handling all the programming and has some
client prospects for 9475 once it`s operational. Still uncertain
whether going to be sold. Neighboring property reclassified as
commercial or agricultural, and to be combined with WTWW property if
sold. George hopes WTWW will survive as a SW station (Glenn Hauser, OK,
WOR)

** U S A. 7505, Nov 16 at 0439, WRNO is S9+30/40 direct in presumed
Hindi; why should Hindi-speakers be Christians instead of Hindus? Or
maybe they should become Jews? Certainly back on the air, for now
(Glenn Hauser, OK, WORLD OF RADIO 2217)

** U S A. 12050, Nov 19 at 0410, JBA Spanish; and 15610, JBA carrier:
no doubt WEWN on its expanded usage of `day` frequencies at night,
both now available until 0600, but hardly propagating (Glenn Hauser,
OK, WOR)

UNIDENTIFIED. Re: "... 610, Nov 15 at 0657 UT, Mexmx unusual...GA and
OR, both unlikely..." Greg Hardison replies:

``I dunno. WPLO/"La Bonita" was pretty clearly heard in the 610 mess
on a West Virginia remote last night (Nov 16 UTC). Seems they could be
cheating, and the signal usually gets out around the East fairly well
anyway. If you hear any sporadic "La Bonita"s, that should cinch it``
(Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)

UNIDENTIFIED. Trans-Atlantic JBA MW carrier search, not a total 9/kHz
bandscan, Nov 19 at 0321: 1107, 1098, 1089, 891, 855, 621 kHz.

Another at 0749: only 855, 774, surely Spain this late (Glenn Hauser,
OK, WOR)

UNIDENTIFIED. 1440, caradio on an expedition 30km N of Enid, two weak
signals interfading, one religious, the other talk, likely early
skywave from KEXP Metroplex TX, 50 kW day power; and KMAJ Topeka KS,
respectively (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR) date and time were missing: 1937
UT Nov 15

UNIDENTIFIED. 9800, Nov 19 at 1537, S7/9+5 of dead air. Probably VOA
via Tinang, PHILIPPINES, Korean scheduled 13-15 & 19-21; surely they
don`t leave it on for the entire 4-hour break (Glenn Hauser, OK, WOR)
